The Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God II (Biserica Adormirea Maicii Domnului II), also known as the White Church (Biserica Albă), is an Eastern Orthodox church in Constanța, originally built for the former village of Anadalchioi.
The church was founded at the beginning of the 20th century, when Anadalchioi still lay outside the city. Its land had been donated by Vasile Teodoru specifically for the construction of a village church, and work began after a local committee was formed in 1904. Engineer Dimitrie Bănescu, head of the technical service of Constanța County, prepared the plans, while much of the building material was donated and transported by local residents. The foundation stone was laid on 3 October 1904 and the completed church was consecrated in 1908.
Built from stone and brick in the form of a cross, the church has a large central dome above the nave and two smaller towers flanking the entrance. Its white-painted exterior and traditionally silver-colored metal roof gave rise to the local name White Church. Inside, the walls are covered with oil paintings in a realist style, while the entrance is approached through an open porch.
When Anadalchioi was incorporated into Constanța in 1928, the city already had another church dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God. The former village church was therefore designated Adormirea Maicii Domnului II, a name that has remained in use ever since.
