The Holy Trinity Orthodox Church (Biserica Sfânta Treime) is an Eastern Orthodox church in Constanța, standing in the Regina Maria Park beside the much larger unfinished Heroes’ Cathedral project.
The parish was established in 2001, and the present church was built between 2002 and 2004 as the chapel of a planned cathedral complex dedicated to Romania’s war dead. The larger Heroes’ Cathedral (Catedrala Eroilor Sfânta Treime) was developed separately behind it, but construction stalled after the reinforced-concrete structure had already risen to a substantial height. The smaller Holy Trinity church therefore continues to serve as the functioning place of worship for the parish.
The church has a simple nave-shaped plan covering about 200 square meters, with a carved oak iconostasis and an interior painted between 2007 and 2009 by Ovidiu Seredenciuc. It was consecrated on 3 October 2010.
