Tomis II Park (Parcul Tomis II) is a long, narrow public park in Constanța, stretching through the Tomis II neighborhood between Bulevardul Tomis and Strada Mircea cel Bătrân. Rather than one large open space, it unfolds along its length with paths, planted areas and several small attractions.
Among the main features are a children’s playground, a large fountain, a summer pavilion and a café on the edge of the park. Farther south stand two of its more distinctive landmarks: the Monument to the Heroes of the 13th Artillery Regiment, created by sculptor Milița Pătrașcu in 1925, and a large Caliron clock installed as a decorative public clock. The Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, commonly known as the Military Chapel, stands at the southern end.
The chapel and artillery monument are reminders that this area was once used by the 13th Artillery Regiment before the neighborhood developed around it. Today, Tomis II Park is primarily a local green space for walking, sitting, children’s play and stopping at the café, with its monuments and surviving military connections adding some historical interest along the way.
