The Laskaridis House (Casa Laskaridis) is a historic residence in the old center of Constanța, built in 1924 for the Laskaridis family, one of the city’s prominent Greek merchant families. Among its owners were brothers Iancu and Lascăr Laskaridis, while Lascăr had earlier served as president of Constanța’s Greek community.
Designed by architect N. G. Parlos, the house has a restrained classical character inspired by Greek architecture rather than the elaborate ornament found on many other historic buildings in the city. The L-shaped structure has a ground floor, upper floor and partial attic, with a slight projection around the main entrance and a balcony above. Simple surrounds frame the rectangular windows, while curved ironwork on the balconies and the wrought-iron fence provide much of the exterior decoration.
