The Palace of Justice (Palatul de Justiție) is a historic court building in Constanța, constructed in the early 20th century as part of the same administrative ensemble as the Royal Palace of Constanța and the former county prefecture, now the Constanța Military Circle. It still serves its original judicial purpose and today houses the Constanța Court (Judecătoria Constanța).
Designed by architect Daniel Renard, the building was constructed between 1908 and 1912 specifically for the city’s judicial institutions. Unlike the neighboring Royal Palace and Prefecture, whose functions changed substantially over time, the Palace of Justice continued to be used primarily by Constanța’s judicial institutions.
The building has a basement, raised ground floor, upper floor and attic, with an eclectic design combining classical forms with Art Nouveau details. The main façade is organized symmetrically around the entrance, while arched and rectangular windows, decorative stonework and ornamental metalwork add variety across the exterior.
