The Ion C. Brătianu Park (Parcul Ion C. Brătianu) is an urban park on the northern bank of the Crișul Repede River in Oradea, Bihor County. It is one of the largest parks in the city. The park is named after Ion Constantin Brătianu (1821-1891), one of the most influential politicians of the 19th century.
The park dates back to 1880 and initially had a small lake that served as an ice rink during winter. The park was reconstructed in the early 20th century and renamed Bunyitay Garden, after the historian Vince Bunyitay.
The Ion C. Brătianu Park is a great place for sports enthusiasts as it has a dedicated running track with a length of over 1 kilometer, basketball courts, football pitches, ping-pong tables, an outdoor fitness area, and a skate park. There are also several benches, a children’s playground, and a few kiosks,
