The Round Bastion (Bastionul Rotund), also known as the White Tower (Turnul Alb), is a surviving defensive bastion on the western side of the medieval fortifications of Mediaș. It formed part of the outer city wall and is one of the larger surviving defensive structures on this side of the old town.
The bastion has a broad rounded form beneath a steep tiled roof, with numerous firing openings still visible around the upper walls. Sections of the western curtain wall survive beside it, while another nearby defensive tower has been incorporated into later residential buildings.
