Exhibition Park (Parcul Expoziției) is a 5.4-hectare public park in the Copou district of Iași, between the Emil Alexandrescu Stadium and the Botanical Garden. Laid out in 1923, it combines wooded areas, lawns, flower beds, broad paved paths, and several recreational spaces within one of the larger green areas of Copou.
The park was created for an agricultural, viticultural, and domestic-industry exhibition organized in Iași after the 1918 union of Bessarabia and Bucovina with Romania. The event was intended to present the agricultural and economic potential of the enlarged Moldavian region and encourage closer commercial ties between its different areas. Several structures evoking historic Iași were incorporated into the exhibition grounds, including a reconstruction of the arch of the former Mihăileană Academy, which still stands near the stadium-side entrance to the park.
Much of the exhibition infrastructure has disappeared, leaving the site primarily as an urban park. Mature trees shade the main paths, while landscaped flower beds and open lawns break up the wooded areas. The park also contains a fountain, children’s playgrounds, a skateboarding area, benches, and smaller paths extending away from the main promenade.
