The former Széchenyi Hotel (fostul Hotel Széchenyi) is a historic building on the corner of Republic Avenue and Trajan Park in the historic center of Oradea, Bihor County,
The Széchenyi Hotel was constructed in 1887 on the site of the former Bárányka Inn. The building was designed in an Eclectic style by the local architect Ferenc Knapp. The building consists of a ground floor, now used for commercial activities, and one upper floor, which is now residential. The upper floor had 30 guest rooms, including several suites. In 1894, the building was connected to the water system, in 1905 it was electrified, and in 1906 it was connected to the sewer system.
After the First World War, the hotel was later renamed Hotel Regina Maria, after Queen Maria of Romania. In 1929, the hotel was turned into a house of culture, with lecture halls, lounges, and exhibition spaces. Between 1945 and 1955 the building functioned as a school, after which the upper floors were transformed into apartments, and the ground floor into commercial spaces.
