The Grigorie M. Grigoriu House (Casa Grigorie M. Grigoriu) is a historic residence in the old center of Constanța, built in the early 20th century for merchant Grigorie M. Grigoriu.
Grigoriu was a prominent member of Constanța’s Armenian community, served as president of the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry before the First World War, and also held the position of deputy mayor at different times between 1913 and 1920. His house was designed by architect Adolf Linz in a neoclassical style with eclectic details.
The building has a semi-basement, ground floor and upper floor, arranged as two symmetrical sections joined at the corner. Balconies with decorative ironwork soften the otherwise formal composition, while the roofline introduces some of the building’s more eclectic architectural details.
