Kindergarten No. 16 (Grădinița nr. 16) is a historic building in the old center of Constanța, originally constructed as a private residence in the late 19th century. Designed by Greek architect Pelopidas D. Couppa, it stands on land that once belonged to Jean Gérard Amédée Alleon, owner of the neighboring Alleon House.
The two-level building has a semi-basement and ground floor, with façades of dressed stone and a restrained neoclassical design influenced by Greek architecture. Some of the stone used in its construction was taken from the ruins of ancient Tomis, and the surviving stone boundary wall even incorporates an ancient stone drainage element.
The house was later converted to educational use and became Kindergarten No. 16, the name under which the building is now officially listed as a historic monument.
