The Brașov Orthodox Annunciation Church (Biserica Buna Vestire) is a Byzantine-style Orthodox church in the center of Brașov, located next to the Nicolae Titulescu Park.
The church was designed by the architect Octavian Smighelschi from Sibiu and construction took place under the supervision of the engineer Wildmann from Brașov between 1934 and 1937. The church is built in a clean white Byzantine style and made of brick and granite stones covered with tin. The building is 24 meters long and 19 meters wide and has an iconostasis made out of carved wood, that was donated by the parish of Saint Nicholas.
In the following decades, small additions were made to the church, including new icons on the iconostasis in 1952, a mosaic floor was laid between 1952-1953, and fresco paintings were added between 1972 and 1976.
