Nicolae Titulescu Park (Parcul Nicolae Titulescu) is the central park in the heart of Brașov, located between Bulevardul Eroilor and Strada Nicolae Iorga. Around the park are several important landmarks of the city.
The park has more or less existed since the first half of the 20th century but has changed names several times before it was named after the great Romanian diplomat Nicolae Titulescu.
Nicolae Titulescu Park is a nice green area with colorful flowers and landscaped walking paths. Inside the park, you can find an artisan fountain, a children’s playground, and statues of Nicolae Titulescu, and of the poets Cincinat Pavelescu and Ștefan Octavian Iosif.
The park is the center of many surrounding architectural masterpieces. Just north of the park, you can see the Orthodox Annunciation Church and to the east, you can find the the Brașov City Hall and the Post Office Palace. Opposite the southern side of the park are the Brașov Art Museum, the Ethnographic Museum, the Transilvania University of Brașov, and the County Library George Barițiu.
