The Postal Palace of Oradea (Palatul Poștelor din Oradea) is a historical monument on Strada Episcop Roman Ciorogariu in Oradea, Bihor County, which has been serving as the regional headquarters of the post office since the 19th century.
A post office already existed at this location but in 1893, it was suggested to create a larger, more imposing edifice as a headquarters. The architect Kálmán Rimanóczy sr. ended up winning the competition, but ultimately the construction was executed based on a project proposed by the Ministry of Posts. The construction took place in 1895 under the supervision of József Guttman and the building had one floor with an eclectic style.
The Postal Palace was later extended by a new construction with two floors designed by Virgil Nagy. The construction was supervised by the engineer József Reisinger and was completed between 1909 and 1911. This is the building you now see on Strada Episcop Roman Ciorogariu, which has an eclectic style and a monumental entrance and pilasters with Ionic capitals
