Focșani Train Station is located in the western part of Focșani, in County Vrancea. It is the city’s only passenger railway station and services regional as well as long-distance routes.

There are two railway companies operating trains running to and from Focșani Train Station:
- CFR Călători is Romania’s national railway company and the largest operator of train routes at Focșani Train Station, including regional lines and long-distance services to Bucharest North, Suceava, Iași, and Ploiești South.
- Regio Călători operates routes to Iași and Ploiești West.

Buying Train Tickets At Focșani Train Station
You can buy your train tickets for journeys with CFR Călători directly at one of the ticket counters or vending machines inside the train station, via certified travel agencies, or online via the website of CFR Călători or their mobile app. Regio Călători also has a ticket office at the train station, but you can also buy tickets online via their website.
Getting To And From Focșani Train Station
The railway station is located in the west of the city, at a walking distance of about 20 minutes from Union Square. The train station is also served by the local city buses which stop on the square in front of the exit. There is also a taxi stand on the square and ridesharing app Bolt is also available for rides in Focșani.
