Sighișoara Bus Station (Autogara Sighișoara) is the main regional and long-distance bus station in Sighișoara in Mureș County and is located next to the train station to the north of the city.
The bus station serves buses and minibuses to nearby towns and other cities across Romania, including Târgu Mureș, Cluj-Napoca, Piatra Neamț, and Brașov. Be aware though, that there are several different private companies operating bus routes to and from Sighișoara and not all of them depart from this bus station.
Getting To And From Sighișoara Bus Station
The bus station is located next to the railway station to the north of the city and by foot, it’s a 15-minute walk to the historic old town of Sighișoara.
In theory, you can also get to and from the bus station with the local city bus, but the urban bus network is very limited and runs rather infrequently, so you might be better off taking a taxi. There is a taxi stand right on Strada Libertății in front of the train station. Ridesharing apps Bolt and Uber are not (yet) available in Sighișoara.
