Getting To And From Iași Codreanu Bus Station
The bus station is located on Străpungerea Silvestru, opposite the train station in the western part of the city, which is a 15-minute walk to Union Square and a 30-minute walk to the Palace of Culture.
Iași also has an extensive public transport system and multiple tram and bus lines stop on Străpungerea Silvestru. Public transport tickets can be purchased from the ticket booth or vending machines at the tram stop. Single-journey tickets for trips within the city cost 3.50 lei and after validation inside a bus or tram, they are valid for 120 minutes.
