The Bust of Vasile Pârvan (Bustul lui Vasile Pârvan) is a bronze monument in the City Hall Park in Constanța, created by sculptor Ion Irimescu and unveiled in 1957. It stands beside the exposed remains of the Tomis city wall, a particularly fitting location for one of the archaeologists who played a major role in uncovering and documenting the ancient city.
Vasile Pârvan was one of the leading Romanian archaeologists of the early 20th century and carried out extensive research across Dobrogea, including at Histria, Callatis and Tropaeum Traiani. In Constanța, he investigated the fortifications of ancient Tomis and produced an early topographic reconstruction of the city, helping establish the layout of the late Roman defensive system. He also supported the creation of an archaeological museum in Constanța in 1911, laying important foundations for the institution that later became the Museum of National History and Archaeology.
