Craiova Train Station (Gara Craiova) is the main passenger railway station in Craiova, in Dolj County in the south of Romania. The train station, which was inaugurated in 1875, is an important hub serving regional, interregional, and international rail connections.

- CFR Călători is Romania’s national railway company and the largest operator of train routes at Craiova Train Station, including regional lines and long-distance services to Bucharest North. Timișoara North, Arad, Târgu Jiu, and international services to Budapest (Hungary).

Getting To And From Craiova Train Station
Craiova Train Station is located in the northern part of the city, about a 30-minute walk from the historic center.
You can also get to and from the train station by bus and many of the local city buses stop at the bus terminal in front of the train station. Single-journey tickets for use within the city are 3 lei and can be purchased from the ticket booth at the bus stop or via the mobile app Craiova Transport.
