The Adorján Houses (Casele Adorján) form an ensemble of monumental buildings in the historic center of Oradea, Bihor County. The two houses are the first edifices built in Oradea designed by the architects Marcell Komor and Jakab Dezső, who are mostly known for their design of the Black Eagle Palace.
The owner of the buildings was Emil Adorján, a lawyer, writer, and journalist, who was also co-owner of the Black Eagle Palace. In 1902, he bought a plot of land next to the storage room of the Oradea State Theater, on the corner of Strada Patrioților and Strada Moscovei. In 1903, the first house was built, which he used for his attorney practice and his private residence. Between 1904 and 1905, the second dwelling was erected, which he leased out.
Although both structures are separate buildings, their facade looks like one continuous curtain that continues around the corner of Strada Patrioților and Strada Moscovei. The upper floors are richly decorated with floral motifs around the windows.
