Hip is a Romanian mobility company headquartered in Bucharest. The company offers car-sharing under its brand Citylink, peer-to-peer car-sharing, and ridesharing. Its services are currently only available in Bucharest and can all be booked through the same mobile application.
Citylink Car-Sharing
Citylink was launched in 2020 and offers pay-as-you-use car-sharing in Bucharest. Its fleet consists of around 150 hybrid Toyotas which you can find and book through the app. Payment goes by the minute and you only pay for the time used.
Private Car-Sharing
Hip also offers peer-to-peer car-sharing through its mobile app. Via this service you can rent a car directly from a private car owner who wants to rent out his or her car from time to time.
Ridesharing
Formerly known as iTaxi, Hip also offers ridesharing via its mobile app. This service is comparable to Uber and Bolt where you can enter a destination in the app and get a match with an available driver who will pick you up and bring you to your destination for a predetermined price. You can pay for your ride in cash or by card.
