The Mamaia Cable Car (Telegondola Mamaia) is an aerial gondola in Mamaia, part of Constanța, carrying passengers above the resort between the Perla area in the south and the Casino area farther north. The 2-kilometer route runs high above Bulevardul Mamaia, with views across the resort, Lake Siutghiol and the Black Sea.
The cable car opened on 16 July 2004 as part of the modernization of Mamaia. Built with equipment supplied by Austrian manufacturer Doppelmayr, the system has cabins for up to eight passengers and reaches a maximum height of about 50 meters above the resort. The journey takes around 7–8 minutes in each direction, with cabins arriving at intervals of roughly 30 seconds and the system designed to carry up to about 1,500 passengers per hour.
From the cabins, the narrow geography of Mamaia becomes particularly clear, with Lake Siutghiol on one side and the Black Sea on the other. The route also passes above hotels, roads and leisure areas along the central part of the resort, giving broad views over much of Mamaia.
The southern terminal is in the Perla area near the entrance to Mamaia, while the northern terminal is close to the Mamaia Casino. One-way or return tickets can be purchased at either end or online. The cable car operates seasonally, and its actual operating hours and ticket prices can be found on the official website of Telegondola Mamaia.
