The Karl Jauernig Palace (Palatul Karl Jauernig) is a large late-19th-century building on Bulevardul Victoriei in Sibiu, designed by architect Carl Heinrich Eder.
The palace developed gradually during the second half of the 19th century. Its central section was already standing by 1875, while the full building appears to have been completed around 1887. Rather than serving simply as a private residence, it was created as a large rental property, with rooms and apartments intended for tenants.
That arrangement brought a varied group of occupants into the building. Doctors rented rooms here and sometimes also established consultation offices, while the palace later housed the editorial offices of several local publications, including Revista Economică and Luceafărul. Its long frontage, broken by two internal courtyards, made it one of the more substantial residential and commercial buildings along the developing boulevard.
The building is now used by the Daniil Popovici Barcianu Agricultural College, while its long historic façade remains one of the prominent surviving works of Carl Heinrich Eder in Sibiu.
