Satu Mare Train Station is the main passenger railway station in Satu Mare, in Satu Mare County in the northwestern corner of Romania. The train station is located east of the city center and has over 50 daily departures, including several direct connections to other major cities in Romania.

There are two railway companies operating trains running to and from Satu Mare Train Station:
- CFR Călători is Romania’s national railway company and the largest operator of train routes at Satu Mare Train Station, including regional lines and long-distance services to Brașov and Timișoara North, and an overnight sleeper train to Bucharest North.
- InterRegional Călători also operates rail connections to Baia Mare and Oradea.

You can buy your train tickets for journeys with CFR Călători directly at one of the ticket counters or vending machines inside the train station, via certified travel agencies, or online via the website of CFR Călători or their mobile app. InterRegional Călători also has a ticket office at the train station, but you can also buy tickets online via their website.
Getting To And From Satu Mare Train Station
The railway station is located in the east of the city, at a walking distance of about 20 minutes from Satu Mare Central Park in the center of the city. You can also take the city bus, which stops to the left from the exit of the train station. Bus tickets can be purchased from the ticket kiosk or the vending machine at the bus stop. There is also a taxi stand in front of the train station and ridesharing app Bolt is also available for rides in Satu Mare.
