The Ligia And Pompiliu Macovei Art Collection (Colecțiile de Artă Ligia și Pompiliu Macovei) is an art museum in an eclectic house from the early 20th century in central Bucharest.
The house belonged to Pompiliu Macovei (1911-2009), a diplomat who held several functions at cultural and governmental institutions, including the Ion Mincu Institute of Architecture. His wife Ligia was a painter. In 1992 they donated their art collection to set up the museum.
The museum collection consists of fine art pieces of renowned painters including Theodor Pallady, Lucian Grigorescu, Gheorghe Petraşcu, Nicolae Tonitza, Ion Ţuculescu, Dimitrie Ghiaţă, and other artists, but also glasswork, ceramics, metalwork, furniture pieces, decorative textiles, and other ethnographic and folk art objects. The museum also features own works of Ligia Macovei and a library with over 11,000 volumes.
