The Nicolae Iorga Park (Parcul Nicolae Iorga) is a small urban park next to Victory Avenue in Bucharest.
The park has an area of 3,000 square meters in which there are benches, a basketball and football pitch, ping-pong tables, and a children’s playground.
There are also three monuments in the park. In the center there is a large white marble cross installed in 2011, which has a tripple meaning: a dedication to the great historian Nicolae Iorga, to the heroes of the nation, and the wood of the holy cross from the Church of Saint Basil the Great, located nearby. The other monuments are busts of the poet Nichita Stănescu and the politician Ion Ghica.
