The Excelsior Theater (Teatrul Excelsior) is a youth theater near Revolution Square in central Bucharest.
The Excelsior Theater was founded on the 1st of April, 1990, right after the 1989 Revolution, as a theater for children and teenagers. The building has a total space of 600 square meters and includes two performance halls: the Great Hall and the Studio Hall. Apart from theater plays for children, the venue also hosts reading performances and book launches.
