Getting To And From Iași International Airport
Iași International Airport is located about 5 kilometers east of the center of Iași and can be reached by bus, taxi, private transfer, or (rental) car.
By Bus
The 50 Express bus line connects the airport with Union Square (Piața Unirii) in the center and the Iași Train Station. The bus is operated by CTP and you can find the time table, which is adapted to the flights schedule, on their official website. Tickets can be bought from the driver, ticket vending machines and other selling points across the city, via the 24Pay mobile app, or you can pay contactless at the machine in the bus. Single tickets cost 3.50 lei and are valid for 120 minutes.
By Taxi
Taxis can be found in front of the airport terminals and charge between 2.50 and 3 lei per kilometer. Ridesharing apps Uber and Bolt are also available to find rides to and from the airport.
By Private Transfer
You can also pre-book a private transfer to your hotel or other destination online, so you can skip the taxi queue at the airport as a dedicated driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name in the arrivals hall. This is the most convenient way as you won’t have to worry about getting cash, waiting for a taxi and haggle about the price because your ride is pre-booked at a fixed rate.
Parking At Iași International Airport
Due to the ongoing construction works to complete a new terminal, parking spaces are very limited at the moment so it’s best to use public transport, a taxi or a transfer to the airport.
