The Former Focșani Chamber of Commerce (Fosta Cameră de Comerț) is a historic administrative building in central Focșani, constructed in the late 19th century. Originally used by the local Chamber of Commerce, it later accommodated several public institutions, including the Duiliu Zamfirescu County Library.
The building served as the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce during a period when Focșani was developing as a commercial center for the surrounding agricultural region. Between 1921 and 1926, it accommodated the Elementary Commercial School, which provided vocational education for young people preparing for careers in trade and business. Following nationalization during the Communist period, the premises were used by the Commercial Directorate in the 1950s and subsequently by the county library. The library operated here until 2014, after which the property was returned to the Vrancea Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
The single-story building has a rectangular layout and a Neoclassical facade with a projecting central entrance. The doorway is framed by slender columns with composite capitals supporting a pronounced semicircular arch, above which rises a decorative pediment with a small attic window. Similar classical details appear around the windows, while the interior is organized around a central hallway with decorative pilasters and capitals.
