The Traian Agri-Food Market (Piața Agroalimentară Traian) is a covered neighborhood market in Vaslui, with separate areas for fresh produce, fish, dairy products, eggs, flowers and other everyday foods. It is smaller than the Central Market but has a clear focus on agricultural and food products, with space set aside for both individual producers and commercial traders.
The present market opened in October 2010 after a six-month modernization that created about 2,200 square meters of commercial space. The new layout included 36 produce stalls for agricultural producers and 80 for traders, alongside dedicated sections for fish, dairy products, eggs and flowers. Enclosed food shops were grouped near the main entrance.
Fresh fruit and vegetables occupy the largest part of the market, while smaller sections sell fish, milk and cheese, eggs, honey, bakery products and flowers. The market also includes parking around the site and serves the surrounding residential area as one of Vaslui’s main everyday food markets.
