Citadel Park (Parcul Cetății) is a linear park along the southern fortifications of Sibiu, extending on both sides of the outer defensive wall between the Thick Tower and the former Cisnădie Bastion.
The park developed from the promenades laid out along this part of the city defenses from the late 18th century onward, when the former military zone beside the walls began to be landscaped for public use. Over time, the old ditches and open ground were transformed into the long green strip that now follows the fortifications.
On the outer side of the wall, tree-lined paths, lawns and benches run beside Bulevardul Corneliu Coposu, where the lower ground exposes much of the height of the brick defenses. The Emperor Francisc I Monument stands here with the Vecsey memorial and fountain forming a small monumental ensemble beside the promenade.
The inner section runs between the outer wall and the older medieval defenses along Strada Cetății, creating a more enclosed promenade framed by the historic walls and guild towers. The Walk of Fame is set into this part of the park, adding a modern cultural element to the route.
