Church of the Holy Three Hierarchs (Biserica Sfinții Trei Ierarhi) is a Romanian Orthodox church in Galați, built in the 19th century on the site of two earlier churches. The present building developed over several decades and later gained its western bell tower, iconostasis and interior decoration.
The first church was already standing before 1800 and was built from timber posts, woven branches and reeds coated with earth. It burned in 1821 during the fighting that affected Galați in the opening phase of the Greek War of Independence, and a second church of similar construction was consecrated in 1823. Work on the present masonry church began in 1867, and the main structure was completed by 1871. Finishing and furnishing continued over the following years before Bishop Iosif Gheorghian of the Lower Danube consecrated the church in 1886.
Further additions followed after the 1886 consecration, including the western bell tower, iconostasis and other works completed between 1900 and 1912. The church combines several architectural influences, with a trilobed arrangement of the apses, a pointed porch gable and onion-shaped roofs above the towers. The present interior painting was created by Vasile Caraman between 1973 and 1977.
A Carrara marble monument in the churchyard commemorates parishioners who died in World War I, with their names inscribed on its surfaces. The church itself suffered damage during World War II and from unstable loess ground beneath the area, leading to restoration work from 1969 onward. A further program of consolidation and repair was carried out between 2004 and 2012.
