The Fishermen Monument (Pescarii) is a stone sculptural group set within a shallow basin on the Casino Promenade in Constanța, created by Cornel Medrea in 1959. The composition shows three fishermen straining together to haul a heavily loaded net from the sea.
Medrea donated the work to Constanța in 1959, and it was installed on the waterfront the following year. The three figures are shown leaning backward against the weight of the net, with their bodies arranged around the same pulling motion. The subject reflects the fishing communities that formed an important part of everyday life along the Black Sea coast.
