Sala Atelier is a theater on Strada Constantin Mille in central Bucharest. The theater is one of the locations of Teatrul Mic, a public cultural institution funded by the Municipality of Bucharest.
Teatrul Mic, which literally means Little Theater, was founded as a private institution called Teatrul Maria Filotti in 1914. Under the post-war communist regime the theater was nationalized and renamed the Constantine Nottara Movie Actor Studio and later Theater for Youth and Children. In 1965, its current name was adopted.
In 1979, a second performance hall was opened on Carol I Boulevard, called Teatrul Foarte Mic, which means Very Little Theater. However, due to seismic risk, the building has been closed. Teatrul Mic also has a third location on Stada Gabroveni in the old town, the Sala Studio.
