The Romanian Youth Palace (Palatul Tinerimea Română) is the headquarters of the Romanian Youth Society (Societatea Tinerimea Română), located in Bucharest.
The building was designed by the architect Virginia Andreescu Haret and constructed between 1924 and 1927. In 1935 it was inaugurated by Nicolae Iorga.
The Romanian Youth Palace was built for the Romanian Youth Society, which was founded in 1878 to discover and promote talented young people from a variety of artistic fields like music, dance, poetry, drawing, and history.
The building has a performance hall with 1200 seats, several rehearsal rooms, offices, technical spaces, and storage spaces. On the facade of the building, you can see bas-reliefs depicting various scenes from the history of Romania, including the War of Independence, the entry of Michael the Brave into Alba Iulia, and the coronation of King Ferdinand.
