The Palace of the Social Insurance House of Bucharest (Palatul Casei Asigurărilor Sociale din București) is a historic monument located on Carol I Boulevard in Bucharest.
The building was designed in an Art Deco style by the architect Ion Ionescu and constructed in the 1930s. Over time the building has been used for varying purposes, starting as the Palace of the Social Insurance House of Bucharest after its inauguration.
During World War II it functioned as the Ministry of Defence and after the war as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1977, the building was damaged by an earthquake. After it was restored it became the National Hotel and since the early 1990s, it has been the headquarters of the insurance company Asirom.
