The Holy Friday Church Herasca (Biserica Sfânta Vineri Herasca) is a Romanian Orthodox church in the Jewish neighborhood of Bucharest.
The history of the Holy Friday Church Herasca goes back to the 13th century and the place of worship was famous for its miracle-working icon of Saint Paraskeva which attracted people from far away to pray in the church. However, under the communist regime, the church was completely demolished in 1987 in order to build housing blocks.
In 2008, the foundation stone was layed for the new Holy Friday Church Herasca at a location 150 meters away from where the original church once stood. The new church has been designed with the same dimensions and style as the original church.
