The Elisabeth Theater (Teatrul Elisabeta) is located in a historic building on the corner of Queen Elisabeth Boulevard and Strada Inginer Anghel Saligny in central Bucharest.
The building was constructed during the interwar period on the land of the Viennese baron Jules de Waldberg. The architect was Rudolf Quich who used an Eclectic style with elements of Modernism, Art Deco, and Classicism.
The building has housed several high-class institutions, including the Austro-Hungarian Club and the Romanian Senate. It now houses the Elisabeth Theater with a capacity of 330 seats on the upper floors. The ground floor houses a restaurant and brasserie.
