The Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit (Biserica Pogorarea Sfantului Duh) is a Romanian Orthodox church in the Alexandru Ion Cuza Park in Bucharest. Its patron saints are the Decent of the Holy Spirit and the Nativity of the Mother of God.
The church was built between 1994 and 1996 in an area with a lot of Communist-style apartment blocks, but no churches nearby. The church is made of wood and resembles a typical MaramureÈ™ style with a spire reaching a height of 45 meters.
