Casa Doina, which means Doina House, is a restaurant located in a historical building in the Kiseleff Park in Bucharest.
The house was built at the initiative of minister of public works Petre P. Carpto to serve as a pavilion for the Paris Exhibition in 1890. However, due to a lack of funds the construction was only completed in 1892. The architect was Ion Mincu who designed the house in a neo-Romanian style with a porch and an internal staircase. The building consists two parts, one with a basement, a groundfloor, and an upper floor, and one with only a ground floor.
In the house operated the famous restaurant Buffet (Bufetul), also called the Roadside Buffet (Bufetul de la Sosea), which was popular among the elite of the city who would dine there dressed in style.
After a renovation of the historic house, the luxury restaurant Casa Doina opened its doors here in 2003.
