The Zion Neolog Synagogue (Sinagoga Neologă Sion) is a reformed synagogue on the south bank of the Crișul Repede in Oradea, Bihor County. The synagogue is no longer in use as a place of worship but is used as an events venue for exhibitions, book launches, concerts, and other cultural activities.
The Zion Neolog Synagogue was built by the reformed Jews between 1877 and 1878 after they split from the Orthodox Jewish community in 1870. The building was designed by the architect Dávid Busch as a simplified replica of the Synagogue of Nuremberg (Germany), and constructed under the supervision of Kálmán Rimanóczy sr.
The synagogue is built on a square plan and has a Moorish and Italian Renaissance style with a central dome that rests on four large arches. Its facades have very large windows that end in semi-circular arches. The interior decorations are painted in a Moorish style by Mór Horovitz from Košice. The temple has a capacity for 1,000 worshippers.
