The Kováts House (Casa Kováts) is a historic monument on Union Square in Oradea, Bihor County.
The Kováts House dates to the beginning of the 19th century but was rebuilt in a neoclassical style after the fire of 1836. From 1807, it housed the oldest pharmacy in the New Town (Orașul Nou) district, the Golden Cross (Crucea de Aur) which was founded in 1745. The owner at that time was József Schmidt, who later changed his name to Kováts.
On the ground floor of the building, there was also a cafe, while the upper floor housed the Civil Preservation House and later the New Town’s Savings and Credit House.
