The House of Culture and Syndicates (Casa de Cultură a Sindicatelor) is a cultural center located inside December 1st Park in Oradea, Bihor County.
The House of Culture and Syndicates of Oradea was established on 22 February 1968 and the construction of the building was completed in 1972 following the plans of the architect Ioan Regman. The building has a brutalist architecture, which was typical for the post-war communist era.
On 29 December 1972 the inaugural show entitled “Celebration in a New House” was held, which featured the Oradea State Philharmonic, the folkloric ensemble Nuntaşii Bihorului, and various other prestigious artists.
The institution is still active today and hosts a variety of cultural activities, including shows, educational projects, training courses, conferences, social activities, exhibitions, fairs, and festivals.
