The Füchsl Palace (Palatul Füchsl) is a historical monument in Oradea, Bihor County. The building is located next to December 1st Park, on the corner of Strada Independenței and Strada Mihai Viteazul.
The building was constructed by the wealthy Füchsl brothers between 1902 and 1903. The architects were Zoltán Bálint and Lajos Jámbor, who also designed the Freemasonry Temple of Oradea. The two-story building has an Art Nouveau style with a tower above the semi-circular corner and a wavy cornice along both facades. The facades are also decorated with motifs of flowers and vines, and you can see a cluster of grapes next to the inscription ‘FT’, which refers to the Füchsl brothers, who were wine merchants.
On the ground floor of the Füchsl Palace, the Bihar Cafe and the Buffet Beer Hall were located, while the upper floors had apartments. Below the ground floor, there was a large wine cellar. In 1910, the complex was bought by Izidor Ullman.
