The historic building on Strada Gheorghe Lazăr no. 20 in Arad, Arad County, is the former headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Arad.
The building was constructed in 1871 as the first headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Arad. After the First World War, the building extentende with another floor.
After the Second World War, the institution was abolished under the communist regime. The building then housed several institutions of the Ministry of Labor.
After the 1989 Revolution, in 1990 the CCIA was refounded and the institution reclaimed the building. In 2014, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Arad sold the building as it had already moved its headquarters to the building on Strada Cloșca no. 5.
The building has since been renovated and repurposed but on it’s facade you can still see the marble reliefs of figurines depicting various tradesmen.
